20-40 Foot Tri-Axle Chassis

The triaxle version of the city chassis; same telescopic frame with a little more beef. Closed position for loading/unloading and road transport of 20ft container. The 40 ft container is handled with chassis in the extended position. Overall lengths are: 29 foot 7 inches and 40 foot 6 inches respectively. Sliding movement via telescopic action of main frame behind landing gear and locking pins ensure positive engagement.

This combo trailer chassis weighs only 7,500 lbs and can achieve a GVWR of 57,600 when loaded with a 20’ container or 75,000 lbs when loaded with a 40’ intermodal container. It utilizes a telescopic system with air actuated locking pins to extend to its full length to allow it to carry the 40’ container. It is applicable to operation in Canada.
